Mark Raymond

Managing Director

The founder of Raymond Plumbing, Mark Raymond, had a very early start in the plumbing industry. Born in South Australia in 1971, Mark attended the Goodwood Technical High School – a trade school – at age 12. The trade experience he gained every day at this school kick-started his love of plumbing and gasfitting.

Mark joined the military at age 17 and during his service, he completed a plumbing and gasfitting apprenticeship. He also helped build the RAAF base in Scherger, worked on the Range control building in Singleton and also completed Facilities Management in Canberra for the Chief Engineer Office at Duntroon Army Barracks.

After leaving the military, Mark moved to Cairns and began working as a maintenance plumber. In 2006 he decided to start his own plumbing business. Ever since, Raymond Plumbing has flourished and Mark is thrilled to be doing what he loves to do, every single day!

On his days off, Mark enjoys bushwalking, running, bird watching, astronomy and rock collecting. He has a deep love of learning, so continuously pursues activities like learning new languages (he speaks Arabic and Spanish), acting classes and he is also involved in his local Rotary club.

Tom Cook

Plumbing Supervisor

Tom started plumbing in 2004 and with his natural problem-solving abilities and a calm and helpful attitude, Tom is the perfect person to be one of our Plumbing Supervisors. His colleagues admire his vast and unsurpassed knowledge of general plumbing, and this knowledge is backed by an extremely good work ethic. If you have a tricky plumbing problem that other plumbers have had trouble solving, Tom is the man you will want to fix it. Outside of work, Tom is a keen cyclist.

Josh Allison

Plumbing Supervisor

Josh is a local Cairns resident with years of experience being a plumber in the Cairns region. Josh has an inquisitive nature, leading him to be open to continuous learning, which has resulted in him becoming a TMV and backflow tester, one of our Zip technicians as well as being one of our plumbing supervisors. Josh loves all sports but loves the Broncos the most.

Alex Hodi

Plumber

Alex completed his plumbing apprenticeship on the tablelands before moving to Cairns and joining the Raymond Plumbing team. Since joining our team, Alex has proven he has a high level of plumbing knowledge, and his friendly nature makes him a great plumber to work with and learn from. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending as much time as possible playing golf and spending time with his family.

Andrew Kemilau

Plumber

Andrew knew he wanted to be a plumber from a young age, and actively sought out a career in the industry. Since joining Raymond Plumbing, Andrew has proved himself to be a valued part of our team. His friendly nature ensures other staff enjoy working with him as well as our customers and suppliers. In his spare time, Andrew spends way too much money on this vehicle which he enjoys taking away on trips as often as he can.

Brendan Cook

Moving to Cairns for a change of scenery, Brendan has shown great dedication to being a skilled plumber.  This dedication, his enthusiasm for the job and his wealth of experience leads him to be an important member of our team.  Brendan enjoys camping with his girlfriend and two dogs.

Cameron brings lots of experience, not just from years on the job, but also from his time traveling and plumbing across the country. That time on the road gives him a flexible, can do attitude that he brings to work every day. In his spare time Cameron loves to fish and spends a lot of time out on the beautiful reefs off Cairns.

With nearly ten years of plumbing experience, Dayle brings a lot of knowledge, and he has a friendly and outgoing nature which has quickly adhered him to the team. Dayle thrives on constantly learning new things and expanding his plumbing knowledge which has led him to become one of our Zip technicians.

Gerrit Vosloo

Originally from South Africa, Gerrit moved to Cairns with his wife and three children to enjoy the tropical lifestyle. Raymond Plumbing is delighted to sponsor Gerrit as he has excellent plumbing knowledge and exceptional work ethic. Gerrit enjoys spending time with his family exploring all the area has to offer.

Harrison Arnol

Harrison is a Cairns local who joined our team once he finished his plumbing apprenticeship. Harrison thrives on constantly learning new things and expanding his plumbing knowledge. His favourite thing to do is to take walks along the beach with his dog.

Jacob was born and raised here in Cairns. He is the kind of guy who always shows up with a smile and takes the time to do things right, whether that’s a quick fix or a big job. Jacob is friendly, reliable and knowledgeable and a great asset to our team.

Romain Neufeld

Plumber

Originally from France, Romain has extensive maintenance and construction plumbing knowledge. He is also one of our qualified Zip technicians. Romain has consistently proved to himself to be a valued part of our team and has been given the responsibility to control and maintain our tools and equipment. Romain is a season ticket holder to the Taipans and tries to attend every home game.

Sam Christoforou

Plumber

After moving up from Victoria, Sam has been busy mastering his trade, sharply honing his skills in gas and in particular gas appliances. Sam is sought out for his high level of knowledge and his friendly nature makes him a great plumber to work with and learn from. Sam loves spending time with his family in beautiful Cairns and enjoying life in general.

Yohann Just-Malmont

Plumber

Yohann moved all the way from France to join the Raymond Plumbing team. Yohann has an inquisitive nature, leading him to be open to continuous learning and has also gained him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Yohann enjoys exploring the local region and going to the gym.

Fiona Morley

Administration Supervisor

Fiona gained extensive experience in the service industry around Cairns, predominately in the security sector, before being recruited to the Raymond Plumbing team. Prior to working with trade companies, Fiona also excelled in various roles in Real Estate and as a Personal Assistant for a Government Agency whilst living and working in England for several years. This vast experience has given her the ability and knowledge to ensure Raymond Plumbing’s administration is to best practice standards. Outside of work, Fiona loves travelling, music, art, and interior design.

Natalie Johnstone

Administration Assistant

Natalie joined Raymond Plumbing in April 2024 and quickly became a valued member of the team. Natalie enjoys camping even though she has a massive fear of crocodiles. She also spends lots of time with her two dogs Ruby and Benji.

William Lindkvist

Administration Assistant

William joined Raymond Plumbing in July 2025 after spending several years in stores and hospitality. William is a Cairns local and enjoys spending time with his pets, which includes three dogs and five cats. He also enjoys gaming and has fitted in well with our team.
